[Twilight: The Broodening]

Illogical indeed.

The concept of the vampire is fiction and therefore does not have to be identical between different works of fiction. Do you read Anne Rice novels and get pissy when she doesn't exactly follow Bram Stoker's ideas? Shouldn't you be pissed that Stephanie Meyers' vision of vampires doesn't have them being created by an animal jumping over a corpse (look it up)? If you tried to include every old vampire myth into one story it wouldn't make any sense, and if you never invented new tales then vampire fiction would get stale. I'm not saying you have to enjoy Twilight, but your logic on every one of your points seemed to be based on a preconceived notion of what a fictional concept should be. And that is just illogical.

As for the actual submission, I couldn't give you any points for a collection of screen caps and a voice over recorded on a $10 mic. Couldn't you have at least gotten a girl to play Bella or done a female sounding voice yourself? Your other voices worked though.

You get brownie points right off the bat for using Mario 2, my favorite game in the series. This is a really good Mario flash cartoon, but what really surprised me about it was the voice acting. All of the voices were good, with Mario, Luigi, and Princess being the stand outs. Actually, if Nintendo made a new Mario cartoon, that's exactly how I'd imagine Peach would sound.

I'm a Christian, and that was hilarious! There are too many Christians in the world who just don't have a sense of humor... it's sad really. You're not saying this is really going to happen, no one's basing a religion off of this one Flash movie, it's just a joke. To the guy who reviewed this a little while ago and said "being gay is a sin"... a lot of things are sins, but God loves everyone equally. If you can't understand that then maybe you should pay more attention to your Bible and less to your preacher.

Sorry... I kinda got off track there. Anyway, funny stuff, and good selection for the front page given current events.

[Spoilsbury Toast Boy - 1]

Brilliant.

I wonder if we'll ever get to see why this is all happening to Toaster Boy. Of all the Halloween related Flash I've seen recently, this was the creepiest. Acually this might be the creepiest submission I've seen since Ice Cream Man. In a film this short it's hard to create an atmosphere that really draws the viewer in. You've more than succeeded in that aspect. I can't wait for the next prequel. I've got my theories as to what exactly drove this boy insane and I want to see how close to being right I am!

[Decline of Video Gaming 2]

Hilarious!

Take the pacing of an episode of Family Guy and add in jokes about video games and you get Decline 2. One of the funniest things I've ever seen on Newgrounds, hands down. Adding a sort of director's commentary was a great idea too, even if I had to read hella fast to catch it all. I'm on a dial-up and it waiting for it to load was well worth it. Don't let the filesize turn you away!

Can you say, "Best Sprite Based Flash Series Ever"? I can. I think part 2 is still my favorite just because of the ending, but being that SMB2 is still my favorite game of all time I love this one too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some Birdos in the next one. I love how you've taken the look of the SNES games and just made it feel so much bigger. If there could be a game that had the feel of this series, Mario fans would be in Heaven.
